Bio

SP3 UNITED STATES ARMY KOREA Joseph was born to Joseph W. and Frances (Jelinek) Frahm. He attended grade school in the Brainard area and graduated from Brainard High School. After graduation, he farmed, then entered the United States Army, serving in Korea. On August 25-1960 he married Patricia Bougger at. St. Francis Church. They had five children and the family lived in Bee, Nebraska area before moving to the David City area where Joseph farmed until he retired. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where he served on the board and was an acolyte. Also a member of Knights of Columbus, American Legion and served on the rural volunteer fire board. He served on the board of the Farmer's Elevator in Bee and the Frontier in Brainard. Joseph loved the land. Once retired, he turned his energy to gardening and his lawn. He was an avid reader, enjoyed crossword puzzles and sports.
