Mrs. Odessa Vonceil Wetzel Quattlebaum, age 93 of Winnsboro, passed away on Saturday, December 10th, 2016 in a Winnsboro Nursing Home. She was born on November 29th, 1923 in Tye, TX to Wesley Wetzel and Charlene Highnote Wetzel Harris. She was a homemaker, and a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Troy Quattlebaum on December 23, 1992; her father, Wesley Wetzel; mother, Charlene Harris; step-father, Burley Harris; brother, Nathan Wetzel. She is survived by a son, Larry Quattlebaum and wife Jeanne of Denton; daughters, Carole Wood of Flint, Debbie Cowser and husband Benny of Winnsboro; sisters, Maxine Gammil of Highland, Diane Sansom of Paris; three grandchildren, Riddi Kline, Craig Cowser, Kevin Cowser and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 12th, 2016 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Beaty Funeral Home-Winnsboro, funeral Services will follow at 2:00 pm, with Dr. David Rose and Bro. Dan Hubbell officiating, interment will follow at Lee Cemetery in Winnsboro.
