Mr. Hunt, an old citizen of Lowndes County and father of Mers J.C and T. Hunt of this places, died at Clyattville on Monday. ~Valdosta Times. 5 April 1879 Clyattville Items Mr. Hunt was buried near here at Forest Grove Church last week. ~Valdosta Times. 12 April 1879 He married Nancy Shepherd on 2 August 1838 in Hall County, GA.
