Bio
Morna Voss died Saturday, December 3, 2016 in Fort Gibson. Morna was born October 11, 1921 in Love County, Oklahoma to Marion Austin Wilcoxson and Aria (Burton) Wilcoxson. She graduated from high school in Greenville, Oklahoma and attended East Center College at Ada, OK. She was a homemaker first, but also a library assistant at Tahlequah High School. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening - anything family and home. Shortly after retirement, she and her husband moved from Tahlequah, OK to Fort Gibson to be near their children. She was a lifelong member of the Church of Christ. Morna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, of 65 years, Si Voss; son, Steve Austin Voss; daughter-in-law, Barbara Voss; two brothers, Raymond and Leonard Wilcoxson. Funeral services for Morna will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at the Church of Christ in Fort Gibson with Jerry Savage and Gavin Wilkie officiating. Burial will be in Warner Memorial Cemetery in Warner, OK, under the direction of Lescher-Millsap Funeral Home of Fort Gibson.
