Bio

Bud McCracken, 51, for many years a Cooke county citizen, died at the home of his brother, John McCracken, nine miles northeast of Gainesville, Monday morning at 7 o'clock, following an illness of several weeks. Funeral services were held at the Rosston cemetery Tuesday afternoon at 1 o'clock, the Rev. L. A. Thigpen, county Bptist missionary, officiating, with burial under the direction of Undertaker S. W. Gibson of this city. Mr. McCracken was a bachelor, and is survived by two brothers, John and Tom of Rosston. Gainesville Daily Register, Gainesville, Texas Friday 7 October 1926
