ORD — Emanuel Adrian Sich, 78, of Ord passed away Friday, Dec. 2, 2016, at Community Memorial Health Center in Burwell. A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Glenda Pearson will officiate. Military honors will be provided by the Ord VFW Post 7029 and American Legion Post 38. Inurnment will be at a later date in the Ord City Cemetery. Emanuel Adrian was born Dec. 2, 1938, at Burwell to Eldon and Bessie (Clot) Sich. He was united in marriage to Dolores McCann on Jan. 29, 1961, at Brooklyn. Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Dolores of rural Ord; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin and Molly of Minnesota, Brian and Donna of Omaha and Shawn and Hillary of Denver; one daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and James Gdanitz of Bertrand; 14 grandchildren; and two brothers and three sisters-in-law, Melvin and Karen Sich of Minnesota, Duane and Julie Sich of Washington and Karen Hawley of North Loup.
