Bio

The Star Press Muncie, Indiana 10 Nov 1993 Ruby Grissom, 83, died Tuesday in New Castle Healthcare Center. She was born in Metcalfe County, Ky., and moved to New Castle from Cadiz, Ky., in 1953. She retired from Firestone Tire and Rubber Co., Noblesville, in 1964. Mrs. Grissom was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church, Edmonton, Ky., and attended Whittier Lane Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother, L.S. Gibbons and several nieces and nephews, include June Cole. Her husband, Clarence Grissom, died in 1981. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Carl and H.R. Gibbons.
