Herald Coaster, January 14, 2003: Funeral services for Della Mueller Philips, 89, of Boerne, formerly of Rosenberg, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2003 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel in Rosenberg with interment following at Forest Park Westheimer in Houston. Deacon Don Ries will officiate the services. Visitation will begin at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 14 at Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Chapel, 3900 B.F. Terry Blvd., FM 2218 at Highway 59 in Rosenberg. She was born Jan. 6, 1914 in Flatonia to Leo E. Mueller and Vlasta Hodanek Mueller, and she passed away Jan. 12, 2003 in Boerne. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe I. Philips; her parents, Leo and Vlasta Mueller; her son-in-law, William Taylor and her sister, Hilda Law. Della is survived by her daughter, Jo Nell Taylor of Boerne; her son, Larry Philips and his wife, Patricia, of Montgomery; her grandchildren, Ronald Taylor, Pam Vaughan, Lori Blackwell and her husband, Bubba, Rory Philips and his wife, Ginger, Lisa Norwood and her husband, Wally and Joel Philips; 13 great grandchildren and numerous other relatives. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg, (281) 341-8800.
