Bio
Edwinna "Polly" Colburn, 73, passed away Friday Nov. 18, 2016, at a local hospital. Polly was born Oct. 18, 1943, in Simon, Okla., to the late Waiksell "Jimmy" and Mary Morgan. She was one of eight children; Jessie, Winnie, Jo Ellen, Mary Ellen, Finley, Glen and Jill. Polly married Jerry Colburn in 1966 and had one son, Bradley Colburn. Polly began working for the Fort Worth ISD in 1982. She was a beloved and cherished family member to the Richard J. Wilson Elementary to both her co-workers and the children's lives she came in contact with. Polly loved to spend her free time reading, using her creative skills, and watching her beloved Cowboys and Texas Rangers. Survivors: Polly leaves to cherish her loving memory, her husband of 50 years, Jerry Colburn; son, Bradley Colburn and wife, Chelo; grandchildren, Dylan Colburn, Veronica Marroquin and Elizabeth "Biz" Colburn.
