Bio

Wheat, Dewey Jackson Independent February 13, 1958 Funeral services for Dewey Wheat, 59, who died Friday February 7,1958 were held Sunday in the Jonesboro Methodist Church with the Rev. G. W. Dameron officiating. He was assisted by Rev. David Mason. Interment followed in the Springhill Cemetery under the directon of Edmonds Funeral Home. Mr. Wheat was a resident of Galveston at the time of his death. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Dewey Wheat of Galveston; one brother, Ralph Wheat of Jonesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Pearl Howard and Mrs. Mary Conners, both of Jonesboro.
