The Shreveport Times. Thursday, August 27, 1903 Page 2 RUSTON. Items of Interest From The Times Correspondent. Special to The Times. Ruston, Aug. 26. - The remains of Mrs. Monroe Winberry, whose husband lived four miles northwest of El Dorado, Ark., passed through Ruston today on the way to Downsville, her former home. Mrs. Winberry was about 28 years of age. Her maiden name was Miss Albritton, she being a niece of Attorney Charles Roberts of Ruston. Her death occurred yesterday under peculiar circumstances. Sunday she fell from the doorstep striking her back against a piece of timber. Monday she became ill and died yesterday.
