Bio
Darnell B. Krc, age 78, a lifelong resident of Wichita Falls, died Monday, June 21, 2004 at his family homestead. Darnell was born January 23, 1926 in his family homestead to the late Louis and Ella (Michna) Krc. He graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1944. Darnell served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Latimer Landing Craft SLE 9sm with honor of service in World War II. He retired from the Civil Service in 1986. Darnell was a member of Faith Lodge 1158, Scottish Rite of Dallas Chapter, and National Brother of Honor Campers Boy Scouts of American—Order of the Arrow. He was preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Krajca; and his son Gary W. Krc. Survivors include his wife of 32 years, Christ Krc of Wichita Falls; daughter, Stacie Grant and friend, Curtis Bilyeu of Burburnett; sons, Jeff Krc and wife, Tanya, of Burkburnette, and faithful companion, Meagan, and Wayne and Jim Krc, both of Marshall; and grandchildren, Ashley Grant, Tyler and Leighton Jenkins, and Curtie Bilyeu. ----------------- Taken from: Zavodny, Melanie.
