LAMPASAS - Paul Hrncir, 76, passed away Tuesday, November 8, 2016. He was born July 2, 1940 in Shiner to the late Matt and Carolyn Tomek Hrncir. Paul married Amlyn (Amy) Gohlke on August 19, 1961. They moved to Houston where he worked as a computer programmer for Brown & Root for 35 years. After retirement they moved to Lampasas to be near their daughter Mandy Gautier (Todd) and the apple of his eye, granddaughter, Casey. He was a lifetime member of Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo, Farm & Ranch Club. He loved wood working, stain glass, yardwork and canning. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gustin and Marcus Hrncir; sister, JoAnn Hrncir. Funeral Service 11 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at Thiele Cooper Funeral Home with Deacon Linard Harper officiating. Burial to follow at Shiner Catholic Cemetery.
