Louis Pacha (172478978) Central Texas Obituaries Temple Daily Telegram Aug 19, 2005 Louis Edward Pacha Services for Louis Edward Pacha, 79, of Temple will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Temple with Bob Kelley officiating. Mr. Pacha died Wednesday, Aug. 17, in a local hospital. He was born in Holland to Antone Joseph and Bertha Pacha. He grew up in the agricultural areas of Bell County. He served in the Army as an MP sergeant during World War II. He married Evelyn Hargrove on Aug. 22, 1953, in Temple. He owned Pacha Appliance repair and for many years worked repairing appliances at Casey's Furniture in Temple. He was featured in the news as one of Maytag's "Lonely Repairman." He was a member of VFW Post 1820 and the Sheriff's Association of Texas. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1996. Survivors are a daughter, Lisa Edmonds of Temple; two sisters, Emma Pacha of Temple and Mary Massar of Holland; two granddaughters; and a great-grandchild.
