Bio

Kenneth was born April 13, 1938 to George and Frieda (Rucksdaeschel) Klepper in York, Nebraska. He graduated from Waco High School, Waco, Nebraska. Kenneth served in the United States Army from November 19, 1960 to May 13, 1961. On September 10, 1961, Kenneth was united in marriage in Seward, Nebraska. He farmed for over 60 years before his retirement in 2002. Kenneth was a volunteer driver for the Seward County Veterans Shuttle. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Waco, Utica American Legion Post #49, SYA Tractor Club, Waco Fire Department for over 33 years and York County Crime Stoppers. He was also on the board of the Wessels Living History Farm. Kenneth enjoyed camping, antique tractor restoration and mowing his lawn. Kenneth passed away on November 7, 2016 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 78 years, 6 months and 25 days. He is survived by his wife; son & daughter; one brother, two sisters in law, one granddaughter. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, George and Frieda Klepper; brother, Milton Klepper; brother and sister-in-law, Arlan and Darlene Klepper; sister and brother-in-law, Wilma and Rueben Gocke. Funeral services were held November 11, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, Waco, NE. Interment was in the church cemetery with Full Military Honors.
