Benjamin Franklin Ondrusek Funeral services for Benjamin Franklin Ondrusek, 87, of Sweetwater will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 30, 2006, in the Holy Family Catholic Church with Father George Varakukala officiating. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, 2006, in the Moulton City Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home of Sweetwater. A rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, in the funeral home. Mr. Ondrusek died Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006, in Sweetwater. He was born on June 9, 1919, in Shiner. He married Doris Gene Freytag on April 4, 1946, in Sweetwater. Mr. Ondrusek was a member of the Holy Family Catholic Church in Sweetwater, and was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. He farmed for many years and also worked and retired from Sears after 25 years. Mr. Ondrusek lived in Sweetwater since 1946, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant serving in World War II. Survivors include his wife, Doris Ondrusek of Sweetwater; two sons, Michael (Mike) Ondrusek of San Diego, Calif., and Richard (Rick) Ondrusek and his wife, Carolyn, of Parrish, Fla.; and one grandson, Derek Ondrusek of Philadelphia, Pa.
