Mary Anita Shirley September 23, 1922 - October 27, 2016 Obituary & Service Mary Anita “Mema” Shirley, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2016. She was born on September 23, 1922 in Dallas Texas to William Norville Baldwin and Laura Ann Burris. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Daniel H. “Pepa” Shirley, her parents, son Danny Ray Shirley, brother Charles Reybern Baldwin and sister Alma Ruth Van Sweeden. She is survived by her loving daughter, Sherry Shirley Davis, son William George Shirley and wife Rhonda. Grandchildren: Stephanie Davis-Pacho and husband Anthony, Pamela Shirley Higgins, Brandon Matthew Shirley and Jonathan Daniel Shirley and wife Brittany. Great Grandchildren: Lori Anne Suits, Brendan Higgins, Gunner Shirley, and Easton Shirley. Great Great Grandchildren: Rylie Mae Suits and Peyton Brooke Suits. Her kind heart and spirit will never be forgotten and she will be missed by so many. Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1 from 1 to 3 pm and funeral services will begin at 3pm at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas.
