Obit from American Press, Dec 29 1930 page 5 Jerrisan Vanburon Vincent Jerry Vincent, 51, died suddenly of heart failure, Dec. 24, 1930. Funeral services were held at the home in Vincent Settlement with interment at Farquhar cemetery. Mr. Vincent was born Sep 10, 1879 at the old Ursan Vincent home. He was the son of Ursan Vincent and Lethann Broussard Vincent. His mother died Oct. 10, 1880 and his father died Nov. 23, 1914. His father, Ursan, was an old Confederate Veteran. Jerry Vincent married Miss Ida Clara Coleman of Westlake on Dec. 20, 1907. He leaves his wife and 7 children; Donald 21 Warren 19 Jerry 17 Lawrence 16 Wilbur 14 Edward 11 Ethel 11 He is survived by 5 sisters; Mrs. Jerry Carathers Mrs. Arthur Vincent Mrs. John Wilson Mrs. Charles Cole Mrs. Nellie Cole and 7 brothers; D.O.
