Benhard Frank Raschke, 88, of Taylor went to his Lord on December 16th, 2013. Ben was born on September 14th, 1925 to Mary and Frank Raschke in Giddings, Tx. Ben married Sadie (Dytrich) in Austin, Tx on December 20th, 1980. Ben was a WWII Marine vet, great gardener, loved polka music and dances. He was a member of Paige Tx Sons of Herman Lodge and Trinity Lutheran Church of Taylor. He was loved by many. He is preceded in death by his first spouse, Evelyn (Kokel) Raschke; sons, Larry Wayne (Ruby Marx) Raschke and Dennis Ray Raschke. He is survived by his spouse Sadie (Dytrich) Raschke of Taylor; daughter Betty (Sherwin) Wissen of Austin; step-son Michael (Karen) Fuessel of Georgetown, step-daughter Cindy (Dennis) Loftis of Pflugerville; step-son Danny (Gloria) Fuessel of Cedar Park; sister Selma (Raschke) Teinert; 2 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; and 9 step great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Richard Hipsher, Blaine Faykus, Jon Snyder, Randall Childers, Robert Lesikar and George Sims. Memorials can be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, 3505 N Main St Taylor, Tx 76574 or Jesus is Lord Mission, P.O. Box 11 Walburg, Tx 78673. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18th, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at Condra Funeral Home. Services will be Thursday, December 19th 2013 at 10:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial at Cook-Walden Capitol Parks in Pflugerville, Tx.
