Charles D. Dyke, 74, of North Platte, passed away Oct. 26, 2016, at Linden Court. He was born on Dec. 31, 1941, to Charles and Doris (Bone) Dyke in Callaway. Charles enjoyed playing the bass fiddle in a band for a number of years. He was a very honorable and dedicated family man and worked extremely hard all his life. His life revolved around his family and he was the world to them. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles; mother, Doris Hagadorn; stepfather, Paul Hagadorn; wife, Mary; two brothers, Dennis and Jim; and great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Xane. He is survived by his daughters, Rose (Bill) Weston and Suzanne (David) Winfield; grandkids, Adam (fiancé, Whitney Weinmen) McCracken, April (fiancé, Robbie Litzenberger) McCracken, Robbie Litzenberger, Jennifer (Aaron) Beed, Stephanie (Keiran) Muir, Natasha Winfield, David Winfield Jr. and Jennifer (Chase) Whitson; great-grandchildren, Anna, Josiah, Xander, Xavier, Gabby, Keira, Khloe, Ezra, Makenna and Aiden; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 1, at Harvest Christian Fellowship Church with Pastors Robert Litzenberger and Jeremy Rinke officiating. Carpenter Memorial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
