Bio

Daniel Frank Stojanik, age 85, of Cyclone, Texas, died in a local nursing home on October 26, 2016. He was born on April 7, 1931 in Corn Hill, Texas to Frank and Mary (Vrazel) Stojanik. Frank married Alice Dach on February 27, 1960 in Rosebud, Texas. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cyclone, Texas and lived in Cyclone for 58 years. He worked at American Desk until he retired. Daniel enjoyed many things during his retirement years. His greatest joy came when he would watch his grandchildren play baseball and softball and watching them show pigs. He is preceded in death by his parents - Frank and Mary. He is survived by his wife- Alice Stojanik of Cyclone, 2 sons - Matthew Stojanik and fiancé Trisha Johns of Cyclone, and Dennis Stojanik and wife Melinda of Westphalia, 1 daughter- Ellen Stojanik of Cyclone and 3 Grandchildren – Katie, Hallie (he called them “Kiddo”), and Wylie Cole ( Sonny) Stojanik all of Westphalia, 1 Step-grandchild – Marantha Johns of Cameron. In lieu of flowers please make memorials to Celebration Park in Westphalia, 16298 FM 2904, Temple, TX 76501 Funeral Service will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cyclone on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 10:00AM. With viewing prior to funeral service at 9:00AM. Father Walter Dhanwar and Deacon Bill Smetana will officiate. Burial will follow in St Joseph Cemetery. Hewett-Arney Funeral of Temple Home is entrusted with arrangements.
