Pulliam, 80 of Kennewick, Washington, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2003, surrounded by his family at home. Keith was born July 20, 1923, in Burwell, Nebraska, to Clyde and Kathryn (Franssen) Pulliam. Keith attended school in Nebraska and graduated from Burwell High School. Keith joined the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served in World War II. Keith married Imogene (Jean) Kinney on June 28, 1952, at Christ the King Catholic Church in Richland, Washington. Keith worked as an ironworker and was a member of the Ironworkers Local 14; he worked on many of the dams on the Snake River as well as FFTF and the WPPSS power plants. Keith's final job as an ironworker was in Venezuela on the Guri Dam. Keith and Jean enjoyed traveling both in Alaska and the Caribbean. They also traveled the United States; the Oregon Coast was a favorite stop for them to watch the storms. One of the proudest moments in Keith's life is when he took his five daughters on an Alaskan cruise. Keith was so proud each evening as we all descended the grand staircase by his side. Keith is survived by his wife, Jean of 51 years; his five daughters; Pam and Mike Thurman of Kennewick, Charla and Tony McCurie of Twin Falls, Idaho, Karen and Ken Wessels of McMinnville, Oregon, Michelle Arens of Kennewick, Denise and Gene Gonzales of Kennewick; sister, Joanne Sauicer of Richland and brother, Rex Pulliam of Damon, Texas. Keith was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde and Kathryn Pulliam. Keith also leaves behind ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild. There was a rosary for Keith on Friday, September 5, 2003, at the Parish of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church 7409 W. Clearwater, Kennewick, Washington. There will also be a memorial Mass on Saturday, September 6, 2003, at The Parish of the Holy Spirit. (Source: Published in Tri-City Herald from Sept. 5 to Sept. 6, 2003)
