Navy veteran Robert L. Eberle Sr., 57, died Saturday at Columbia Audubon Hospital. He was an operations manager at Industrial Services of America, a Navy veteran, a former commander of Amvets Preston Post 9, a former Am-vets national finance officer and national executive committeeman, and a Catholic. Survivors: his wife, the former Wanda Pollard; a daughter, Denise Spaulding; sons Robert L. Jr. and John A. Eberle; brothers Charles, Theodore and Gerald Eberle; sisters Mary Hays, Florence Graber and Nancy Mattingly; and two grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Tuesday, St. Ignatius Martyr Catholic Church, 1816 Rangeland Road. Burial: Penn Run. Louisville Courier Journal Mother: EBERLE, Mrs. Florence Louise (nee Schuler), passed on in her 47th year, Wednesday, October 13, 1954, at St, Joseph Infirmary. Family residence, 1232 Fern Valley Rd. Beloved wife of Mr. John A. Eberle, Sr.; devoted mother of Mr. Donald (Mary) Hay. Mr. Irvin (Patricia) Anderson, Florence L. Eberle, Nancy Jean Fberle and John A., Jr., Charles E., Theodore K., Robert L. and Gerald W. Eberle. Loving daughter of Mr. Charle Schuler; fond sister of Mr. Fred (Fern) Bonifer, Jasper, Ind., and Mrs. Raymond (Ruth) Elder. Also survived by 2 grandchildren/ Louisville Courier Journal Father: JOHN A. EBERLE John A. Eberle, 57, for 25 years night operating supervisor for the Kentucky Trans port Company, died at 1:40 a.m. Friday at his home, 8014 Trillium Drive. He had been ill for four months. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Anna Mae Schwartz Eberle; four daugh ters, Mrs. Mary Eberle Hayes, Mrs. Patricia Anderson, Miss Florence Eberle, and Miss Nancy Eberle; five sons, John A., Jr., Charles, Theodore, Robert L., and Gerald W. Eberle, and four grandchildren. The body is at the W. G. Hardy Shively Chapel, 4101 Dixie Highway, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
