Obituary from Wayne County Press, 1/3/1924 as extracted by Bettie Wheat: James Hamilton, son of William and Mary Beeson, was born in Wayne county May 10, 1849 and died December 29, 1923. He married Jemima Whitson April 18, 1873 in Wayne county. Six children were born to this union. One child, Margaret, died in infancy. Surviving children are: Arthur of Fairfield, Fred of Geff, Everett of Rockford, Luke of LaGrange, Illinois and Fannie at home. Burial is in Oak Valley cemetery.
