Son of Emil & Lena (Slavicek) Zikmund. Married to: 1. Patricia Ruth Strong on 10-16-1943 at Astoria, OR. (1922 OR./1969 NE.) 2. Elinor Marie Kapustka on 3-6-1971. WW II - US Coast Guard - Sept.1942/Oct.1946. He served in the Reserves for the U.S. Navy Air Corps for 13 years and the U.S. Navy Intelligence for 12 years. He received his Honorable Discharge as their Leading Chief on March 20, 1982
