Richard Louis Cmelka, 74, born in St. Bernard, Texas on December 17, 1941 passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. He is preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Irene Kolar Cmelka; his sons, Richard Louis Cmelka, Jr., Ronald Ray Cmelka, Russell Keith Cmelka; and his granddaughter, Isabella Marie Simmons. He is survived by his daughter, Deanna M. Cmelka; his grandchildren, Brett E. Blackburn and Jacob C. Simmons; his brother, Gary Cmelka; and his wife, Joyce A. Hemken; and many cousins, nieces and nephews from both the Lenart (Kolar) family and the Cmelka family. A visitation will be held for friends and family on Monday, October 10, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM at South Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 12:30 PM at South Park Funeral Home, 1310 North Main, Pearland, TX 77581.
