Bio

Maxine C. Neu, 94, died at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born April 27, 1912, in Rutland, the daughter of Louis and Rose Holstrom Steinke. She married Peter J. Neu on February 27, 1942, in Rutland. He died February 15, 1982. Surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents. She was a former member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Peoria and had attended Rutland schools.
