Married Apr 22 1884 NE Another child, died young ----------------------------------------- Mrs. Agnes Wigent, Longtime Resident, Dies at Age of 92 Funeral services are being held today (Thursday) for Mrs. Agnes Wigent, 92, a resident of Valley County for the past 76 years and an Ordite for 60 years, who died Tuesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Harkness. The Rev. Robert Miller is officiating at services in the Hastings-Pearson Mortuary Chapel. Burial will be in the Ord City Cemetery. Mrs. Wigent was born in Czechoslovakia Feb. 7, 1869, to Mrs. and Mrs. Joseph Pacas. She came to the United States with her parents when she was three years old and in 1885 [sic] (April 22) she married David Wigent in Valley County. They farmed for many years northwest of Ord, then moved to a farm northeast of Ord. Mrs. Wigent has been living with her daughter, Mrs. K. W. Harkness. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Harkness and Mrs. Bessie Johnson of North Platte; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The Ord Quiz - Thur, Aug 31 1961, Pg 8, Col 4
