ARCHIE CLARK STRATFORD - Services for Archie Gilbert Clark, 89, Stratford, are 1 p.m. Friday at Stratford Assembly of God Church, the Rev. Charles Tennison officiating. Burial follows at McGee Cemetery. Family visitation is 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. today. Mr. Clark died Feb. 9, 2005, at Ada. He was born July 26, 1915, at Temple, Texas, to Rutherford and Gladys Hancock Clark. He was owner/manager of a trucking company, moving to Stratford from Irving, Texas, in 1972. He was a member of Assembly of God Church and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason of Stratford Masonic Lodge 118. He married Pearl Tackett Clark June 14, 1969, at Irving. Survivors include his wife, Pearl Clark, Stratford; four daughters, Wanda Frazier and her husband Tommy, and Dorothy Trower and her husband John, all of Mesquite, Texas, Francis Houston and her husband Jim, Tulsa, and Sandy Phillips and her husband Jerry, Keller, Texas; two sisters, Mildred Mitchell, Fort Worth, Texas, and Margaret Trower, San Diego, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
