ATLANTA, Texas-Patsy Ruth Hunt, 85, of Atlanta died Monday, Sept. 22, 2003, in Texarkana. Mrs. Hunt was born April 9, 1918, in Prairie Hill, Texas. She was a retired schoolteacher and a member of First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen O. Hunt; and one daughter, Nancy Hunt Ray. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Randy Carrion officiating. Burial will be in Laws Chapel Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service. Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 103 N. Louise Street, Atlanta, Texas, 75551, or to a favorite charity.
