Bio

Served in U.S. Army during World War II. Preceded in death by grandson Donald Shane Shipley, sisters Johnnie Kate Holder and Ruth Cowan, and brothers O. W. Mayes and James "Ikey" Mayes. Survived by two daughters and two sons, four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
