The date of death is taken from the Memphis City Register of Deaths, number 9603, obtained through the Shelby Co. Register of Deeds. His age is given as 37, and the cause of death as "phthysis pulmonalis" (commonly known as tuberculosis). He may have been interred in the city cemetery. I know very little about him, and should anyone have further information, or any corrections, please do make them known.
