Greeley Daily Tribune (Greeley, Colorado) 09 Dec 1971, Thu Page 6 Robert Snyder Robert Lewis Snyder, Route 3, died early Thursday at the Weld County Nursing Home where he had been a patient for two months. He had been ill for the past six months. Born in Trenton, Ga., July 6, 1915, he was reared there, and served in the South Pacific Theater during four years of World War II. After the war he came to Colorado, and had lived here since. He married Marie L. Hotoby [Hotovy] at Golden on Feb. 18, 1946. Snyder had been employed as a motor operator for Imperial Coal Company at Erie. In addition to his wife, Mrs. Marie Snyder, are five sons and a daughter, Robert L., Ronald, Glen, Thomas, Gary and Sharon Snyder and one grandson. Also, his mother, Mrs. Lucy Snyder of Denver, and three sisters, Janette Batson of Arvada, Marietta Gilbert of Price, Utah, and Lennie Clark of Empire, Ala. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday in the Adamson Memorial Chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
