Services are pending with Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at Coker-Mathews Chapel today at 2 p.m. with Rev. Carrell Still officiating. Burial will be in Forest Park Cemetery. The daughter of D.R. and Bertha Voyles Cain, she was born in Greenville on Aug. 30, 1906. She married Henry M. ‘Monk’ McGehee in Greenville on April 29, 1925. Mrs. McGehee was a retired office and credit manager for several local businesses. She was a member of Central Christian Church. Mrs. McGehee is survived by two daughters, Iris Prince of Greenville and Pat Serbanic of Longview; grandchildren, Robert Moore of Greenville, Mark Serbanic of Shreveport, La., Paul Serbanic of Temple, Kathey Benedic of Birmingham, Ala., Cheryl Porter of Greenville, Peggy Prince of Greenville, Laurie Tuttle of Miami, Fla., Ginger Belew of Big Spring and Peter B. Serbanic of Kayport, N.J.; 12 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a niece, Lanell Arant of Dallas. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Nov. 18, 1971; two grandchildren, Sammy Moore on Nov. 1, 1952 and John Moore on Feb. 14, 1974; brother, John Cain on April 12, 1967; two stepsisters; and two stepbrothers. Pallbearers will be John C. Reynolds, R.R. Harwell, Ray Little, Butch Mitchell, Gerald Hall and Keith Elwell. Buster White, Tommy Jackson, Joe Peters, Raymond Stephens and D.A. Steele will serve as honorary pallbearers.
