Bio
Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Jack Fowler, 84, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2016. Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22, at Birdville Baptist Church in Haltom City. Interment follows in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Bluebonnet Hills Funeral Home. Jack was born in Lancaster and grew up in Red Oak. After serving in the Air Force, he married Mary Oler. They were married for 54 years when she passed away in 2006. For the majority of his professional career, he was in insurance sales and consulting. Jack loved the outdoors, hunting, the Texas Rangers, and Texas barbecue. He was a longtime member of Birdville Baptist Church and the American Legion Post 626. Survivors: Jack is survived by his daughter, Tina Hill; son, Billy Fowler; daughter, Terry Fowler; fiancee, Judy Martin; grandchildren, Brandon Hill, Blake Hill, Kristin Fowler, Kasey Fowler, and Kathryn Fowler; great-grandchildren, Ramona Pittman, Travis Hill, Maryn Hill and Jack Pittman. He was also looking forward to meeting Jack Edward Hill this October. Published in Star-Telegram on Sept. 20, 2016
