Bio

Jewell Bunyan was born the 6th of 11 children, and the 3rd and youngest daughter born to Manora Wallace and John Francis Bunyan. She was born in the Oklahoma Territory, when her father and oldest brother, Fred, went to Oklahoma for the land rush. Jewell was a bookkeeper in Wichita, and never married. JEWELL BUNYAN - Jewell Bunyan 81 of 630 N Topeka retired secretary died Wednesday Services will be at 10 am Saturday in Byrd-Snodgrass Funeral Home Downtown' Burial will be at 2 pm Saturday in Neola Cemetery Turon Kansas. Bom in Guthrie Oklahoma she came to Wichita 50 years ago from Sterling Kansas Survivors include three brothers, Vernon R., Traverse Lee, and Earl.
