Funeral services for Mrs. Claudine (Dean) Turner, 61, of Mobile, Alabama, have been set for Thursday, August 3 at 11 a.m. at Sigler Funeral Home Chapel. She was a native of Castleberry, Ala., and a long time resident of Brushy Creek community in George County. she had resided in Mobile for several years. Mrs. Turner was a former staff member and news reporter of the George County Times, and a member of the Rocky Creek Church of Christ. She died August 1, at Mobile Infirmary following a brief illness. She is survived by her husband, Louis Turner of Mobile; a daughter, Linda C. Taylor and a son, Larry E. Turner, both of Mobile; and three grandchildren, Robert Taylor and Billye Williams, both of Mobile and Tony Cummings of Brushy Creek and six great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother, James E. Emmonds of Lexington, SC and Bob shephard. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her parent, and by a daughter, Debbie Daughdrill. Services will be conducted by Bro. Don Myers. Interment will follow in the Macedonia Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Maj. Lester Hargrove, Buddy Sellers, Bennie Ray Harrison, Sgt. James Mayo, Clyde Eubanks.
