Bio

Kalispell Bee (MT) Mrs. George Ware passed away at her home three miles west of Kalispell, at 5:30, Jan. 30, 1918, the cause of her death being paralysis. Emma Rothenberger was born in Baden, Germany, Nov. 15, 1842. When five years old she came with her parents to Zanesville, Ohio. In 1862, the family moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There she was united in marriage, Sept. 25, 1873, to George Ware. In 1883 they moved to Iowa Falls, Iowa, where they resided for 35 years, coming to Kalispell in 1909. Six children were born to the union: Valentine S., Stella B., Annis L, Leo E., Kenneth V. and Rilla. Estella passed away Feb. 15, 1903. Mr. Ware died March 3, 1913. Annis, Kenneth and Rilla were at the bedside of their mother at the last. Leo, who resides at Council Bluffs, Iowa, and Valentine, who is in Kansas City, were not there. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Waggener chapel. No music was given at the request of the deceased. Burial was made in Conrad Memorial cemetery.
