Agnes died Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at Mory's Haven in Columbus. Agnes Luetkenhaus was born November 5, 1921 in Columbus, Nebraska to Louis and Mary (Scharff) Miksch. She grew up on a farm between Platte Center and Columbus and attended St. Joseph and District #3 Schools of Platte Center. After graduation Agnes worked several years at the Scotts Dime Store in Columbus. On April 8, 1947 she was united in marriage to Eugene Luetkenhaus in Platte Center. Agnes was a member of Lindsay Holy Family Church and the Holy Family Guild. She worked every Wednesday afternoon for many years at the plant project for the church. Her hobbies were collecting stamps, collecting owls, her card clubs and sending get well cards.
