Daughter of William Henry and Loula (Lock) Shinn. Married Henry Edgar Cobb Sr 2/18/1933 in Checotah, McIntosh County, Oklahoma. They had three children. Mary was one of McIntosh County's most successful teachers. At time of marriage to Edgar she was in her 8th term of teaching in McIntosh County schools.
