Copied from djournal.com 7-6-2007 FULTON – J.D. Frederick, 71, died Wednesday, July 4, 2007, at the North Mississippi Medical Center after a long illness. He was born Sept. 15, 1935, to the late Roy and Minnie Spence Frederick. He was a retired farmer and truck driver, and a member of Trinity Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid collector of knives and clocks. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Senter Funeral Home Chapel. Dr. Don Baggett and Dr. Lloyd Sweat will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church Cemetery near Tremont. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Jane Frederick of Fulton; two daughters, Cindy West (Mark) and Marilyn Carter, both of Amory; two sons, Randy Frederick (Beth) of Columbus and Mark Frederick (Missy) of Fayetteville, N.C.; nine grandchildren, Joseph Leech, Christy Gauntt (Preston), Jenny Gaines (Seth), Rebekah Sumner (Oakley), Rebecca Studdard (Jerry), Rachel Winters (Wade), Natalie Carter, Jessica Frederick and Katie Jane Frederick; three great-grandchildren, Colton and Makalah Sumner, and Kaiden Gaines; two stepgrandchildren, Misty and Heather; four stepgreat-grandchildren, Hailey, Madison, Lexie and Abbie Grace; one brother, Arculus Frederick (Polly) of Tupelo; three sisters, Glatus Martin of Pasadena, Texas, Lois Ford of Hackleburg, Ala., and Marine Lundy of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; a sister-in-law, June Wilemon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a son-in-law, John Carter. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and from 6:30 a.m. to service time Saturday.
