George served in the US Army during the Korean War until 1955. George married Caroline "Carol" Sabata. They are the parents of David George, Lyle Patrick & Brian. George J. Bouc, Jr., 84, of Ceresco, NE entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln. He was born August 17, 1932 in Ceresco, NE to George and Blanche (Pekarek) Bouc. George attended District 118 country school and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Grade School. He was a graduate of Wahoo High School in 1949. George was united in marriage to Caroline Sabata on August 9, 1958 at St. Mary Catholic Church in David City, NE. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict until he was honorably discharged in 1955. George was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Davey, NE, 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus #15647, lifetime member of the American Legion Post #308 in Weston where he held various offices for many years and former Commander, lifetime member of the V.F.W Post #10491 in Valparaiso, Disabled American Veterans in Lincoln, ASCS committeeman and trustee of St. Mary Catholic Church, member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Assoc. (former Catholic Workmen), Saunders County Live Stock Feeders Assoc., former member of the Saunders County Pork Producers Assoc. George was a lifelong Saunders County farmer who loved and collected Allis Chalmers machinery. He attended many machinery auctions and enjoyed visiting with other collectors. He was a member and exhibitor at the Camp Creek Threshers in Waverly. He was a diehard Boston Red Sox fan for over 68 years and enjoyed Polka music. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Carole Bouc; son, Brian Bouc; nieces, nephews and cousins. He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Blanche Bouc; sons, David and Lyle Bouc; brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Therese Bouc, sister-in-law, Mary (Bud) Schwab.
