Bio

Melvin W. Witzka, 29, was a passenger in a car that was involved in a two-car headon crash 1.7 miles north of Norfolk on Highway 81 at 12:45 a.m. He died about 11 a.m. Saturday while undergoing surgery for the injuries he received. He was in the southbound car that the driver was in critical condition early Saturday. The driver of the northbound car was in satisfactory condition. Both cars were demolished that left debris which had to be removed from the highway. He was born Feb. 22, 1934 at Norfolk to Mr. and Mrs. William Witzka. He was survived by his father William at Hadar, his mother Mrs. Martha Witzka at Norfolk, 1 brother Lloyd at Wisner.
