She was born April 7, 1923 in Pierce county to Fred and Martha (Lieneman) Barstadt. She was married on May 21, 1943 to Wade K. Shelton at San Francisco, California. She was survived by 1 son and his wife, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, 1 sister Phyllis Kudera at Norfolk. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on July 17, 1990, 1 brother Roy.
