Services were held Saturday, Dec. 15 at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady under the direction of Heritage Funeral Homes. He was born July 23, 1934, in Brady to John E. and Dovie (Dolbery) Black. He served his country for over nine years in the United States Air Force. He is survived by a niece, Kathy Siler of Brady; two nephews, Jerry Siler and wife, Judy, and Greg Siler all of Belton; three great-nieces, Octavea Siler Holloway of Brady, Jacky Siler of Amarillo and Samantha Siler; four great- nephews, Arlo Siler, Jared Jon (J.J.) Bell, Mark (Wolfie) Bell and Micah Bell. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Mason; a great-niece, Gail Siler and a great-nephew, Donnie Siler.
