Jeune (Smith) Hoffman of Arlington, Texas passed away on August 27, 2016 at the age of 92. She was born on May 5, 1924 to Johnnie Guy “Bob” & Lois (Campbell) Smith in Collin County, Texas. Jeune married Joseph John Hoffman on December 2, 1950 in McKinney, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 22, 1991. She was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Arlington, Texas. Jeune enjoyed Star Trek and collecting milk glass. She was very dedicated to her family. Jeune is survived by her sons, Timothy Joseph Hoffman, Christopher Paul Hoffman and wife, Virginia; grandchildren, Ethan Hoffman and Jordan Hoffman all of Arlington, Texas; brother, Campbell Smith of Dallas, Texas; and numerous other loving family and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents. A funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Tabernacle Baptist Church, 2500 W. Randol Mill Rd., Arlington, Texas 76012. Interment followed at Fitzhugh Cemetery in Forest Grove Community, Texas. The family received friends during a visitation on Friday evening, September 2, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home, 1219 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, Texas 76012.
