He was born Jan. 20, 1936 to Josephn and Marguerite (Ralsey)** Koenig in Sparta township in Knox county. He was married on May 16, 1959 to Julie Schinck at Madison. He was survived by his wife, 2 daughters [1 with husband], 4 sons [3 with a wife], 20 grandchildren, 3 foster children, 1 nephew that he raised. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 infant son, 2 brothers, 1 sister.
