Fred Kennedy, 79, funeral will be held Saturday with burial in Hillcrest cemetery. He died Wednesday morning in Norfolk. He was born April 1893 to Mr. and Mrs William Kennedy in Stanton county. He was married on April 8, 1914 to Mabel Benedict. He was survived by his wife at Norfolk, 2 sons:; Orvall at Norfolk, Melvin at Seattle, Washington; 1 daughter Mrs. Alvin {Ardyce} Reeg at Wayne, 6 grandchildren, 2 brothers: George at Hastings, Robert at Norfolk; 2 sisters: Mrs. Henry {Kate} Schroeder, Mrs. Sarah Schultz both at Wayne.
