He was survived by his wife, 1 son Melvin of Pierce, 3 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, his mother Mrs. Norah Freeman of Mitchell, South Dakota, 1 brother John of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, 3 sisters: Mrs. Walter {Eva} Reuland of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mrs. Robert {Dorothy} Jones of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Mrs. Darlene Strand of Mitchell, South Dakota.
