Bio

Parents: Peter S. and Birdena L. (Gerrits) Parks, In 1937 Maxine married Maurice W. Chase. After his death in 1957 she was appointed to fill out his unexpired term as Hanson County Treasurer and continued to hold that office until her retirement in 1978. In 1978 she married A. Boyd Knox and moved to Mitchell. She is survived by one daughter, one daughter-in-law, four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; three step-children.
